Following telltale signs of leakage,I have cut out the sheetrock behind the Guest Bathroom Tub and have found the problem. The faucet inlet connection is leaking in the soldered joint.
Please advise me on the proper way to resolder this existing joint.

Take the leaking joint apart, clean both pieces thoroughly, then flux both pieces, put them back together and resolder them.
