I was wondering if you could give me any info. on the class action suit where Shell was involved as I have a
manufactered home with that awful plumbing that keeps going bad, I have had four bad leaks in two years and
understand that something can be done about this, as Coast to Coast was the only place I could get repacement parts
here in the Reno area and now they have gone out of business.
Thank you for any help you can refer me to

There are a couple of class action settlements that relate to the problem you explained. The Spencer Class Facility handles the settlement that deals specifically with plastic fittings. Check out their we site at http://www.spencerclass.com. This settlement currently offers a 10% reimbursement of the total replacement cost. You can contact the Spencer Class Facility at 1-800-490-6997. Make sure to visit Polybutylene.com to see pictures of plastic & metal fittings.

The most popular settlement (as you mentioned) was formed by Shell Oil and is administrated by the Consumer Plumbing Recovery Center in Plano, TX. This is the settlement that offers a 100% free replacement if approved. You can contact the CPRC at 1-800-356-3496 and have a look at their web site at http://www.pbpipe.com.

Make sure to stop by Polybutylene.com to request a FREE polybutylene information kit!
