I purchased a Bradford-White Hot water tank 1-7-99 Model No#MI40S6DS13-131.
It shorted out in the top. What should I do with it, It is still under warranty I Purchased it from Famous in
Washington Pa. -
If it shorted out in the wire connection box, then it is an electrical problem, possibly caused by connecting aluminum house wires to the heater’s copper ones, or loose connections. If it is at the upper thermostat, call their support line and have a service person replace the burned out component.
