About the Author
Charles Byers taught at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in the carpentry department for 12 years, where he created a large number of innovative adult continuing education programs for carpentry, historic building preservation, apprenticeship instruction, and electrical technology. He established and now teaches in a new residential remodeling department at the college, covering all facets of building, remodeling, and maintenance of residential buildings.
