As I am not proficient in heating systems I pose this questions. There is a significant delay in my boiler ignition. This causes a loud concusion noise and vibration in the house. The heating specialist says its the burners. He had cleaned them once. No luck. The pilot flame is strong. Any other suggestions. Thank you. DRS

Check the gas pressure should 3.5″ at the manifold.

Stand back and observe the burner ignition. If you find one or more burners slow to ignite your burner runner tube could be clogged. (The flame is supposed to go from the pilot to the runner tubes to the burners. If the runner tube is clogged the burner builds up with raw gas than ignites. BOOM)
