        I would appreciate help
I have oil fired central heating, when heating system is running i get boiling hot water flowing from expansion pipe in attic into the feed tank.My first thought was the setting on circulation pump, but running ok all along and wasnt touched.Could it be the boiler thermostat? if so i cant understand why the pressure relief valve on boiler isn’t spitting.
Can ANYONE throw some light on my question.THANKS

I am not sure how to answer your question when I read in your post things like “it wasn’t touched”. Has someone been tinkering about with the installation and if so what did they do – this may throw some light on the picture.

            THANKS FOR REPLY

WHAT I MEANT BY NOT TOUCHED WAS THAT THE SETTING ON THE CIRCULATING PUMP WAS NOT ADJUSTED.NO TINKERING WITH SYSTEM.I UNDERSTAND THAT HIGH SETTING ON PUMP CAN PUSH WATER UP EXPANSION PIPE.
