Today while I was cleaning a glass shelf from the fridge (over the sink) it shattered and small glass fragments got in the disposal, and are now jamming it. I think they are getting stuck between the blade and the bottom of the disposal. Any suggestions on how to clean this without removing the disposal? (These aren’t giant chips, but very small pieces. The thing exploded somehow when I set it down to dry…. but that’s a different matter.

On the bottom of the disposer there should be a place were an allen wrench can be inserted and turned so you can unjam it.
If this does not work use a broom handle inserted on top and manually move the blades with this.
