        our cold water pipes started to rattle when the outside taps are turned on, last night we turned the back tap on & it is only dribbling, i gather we will need a plumber but i’d like to know why? can anyone help [email protected]

          normaly a rattle like you discribe is an indication of a loose washer in a faucet…it has now come loose cutting off your flow of water. repair the faucet and your troubles go away :-) ..also change washers in both sides while your at it…good luck

            Thanks Heaps for your help! problem is solved, it was caused by a blocked timer, which is now back where it was purchased from, it was faulty, we only got it atmas. Regards Carmel
