        Hi Guys,

I’m just wondering what’s the best method of joing copper hot and cold water pipes to polyethylene? We’re installing a new kitchen and the existing plumbing needs to be extended by around 1.5 metres, so I thought it would be quicker and easier to use polyethylene.

        Thanks.

We down here we use “Acorn” copper to poly adaptor sockets and fit a s/s insert into the poly pipe so it does not crush – they work dam well – no problems to date and have been using them for a few years now.
