Plastic pipes under concrete floor a good idea?

Hello All,

A friend of mine is building his own place and has asked me to get any advice on using plastic pipes under the concrete floors. Is it a good or bad idea? Should he use copper instead? Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

It’s a real good idea that he contacts a licensed plumber to help him, concrete is unforgiving if he gets it wrong which most pople do.

It would be better to run pipe overhead and keep it out of floor, because later on you have problems.
