CPVC vs PVC cement

        I am redoing my plumbing and I use CPVC pipes for both cold and hot water. However, I just noticed that I am using PVC cement rather than CPVC. Does it maters? Should I re-do whatever is done with CPVC cement?

          definitely. CPVC cement is usually an orange color, but there are also clear universal cements. The main thing is that it has to specify that it is for use with CPVC
