I am installing a new bathroom in my basement rough in. There is only 12 1/4″ from the center of the 4″ toilet pipe to the stud wall behind it. After installing sheetrock I’ll only have 11 3/4″ clearance. The wall has a vent pipe located even with the face of the toilet side stud wall so moving the wall would be difficult at best. It’s my understanding that the Kohler toilet I purchased must have a minimum clearance of 12″ to the finished wall. Will I be able to properly install the toilet or do I have to figure out a way to get another 1/4″ clearance? Thanks in advance for your help.

They all have at least 3/4″ clearance when installed at 12″, so yours should fit.
