        I have galvanized 3/4″ pipe from curb box to water meter, its older than the hills. Can this be cleaned or is my only option a new main line. your input is appreciated.

          It cannot be cleaned. If you tried to clean it, then it would start leaking. And if it were possible, the cost would be more than a new pipe, and you would still have the old pipe.
