have a that is about 18 yrs old and all of a sudden the pluming starts making noise when the water is turned on, what can I do to stop this . Thank youJOHN

Try and isolate the noise if possible. If the pipes are making a clanging noise you could have pipes touching each other. Possibly your air chambers or a air chamber has filled with water and your getting a water hammer effect. Consult a licensed professional.
