Below is a story submitted to us regarding MrH2O Plumbing...

I came across your May 2012 update on Mr H2O Plumbing when researching a problem I have had with that organisation.

My search of the ASIC website shows that MrH2O Pty Limited is in external administration. A search of the Fair Trading website shows that the licensee was fined $20,000 under s56 (c) of the Home Building Act and that there are three CTTT orders outstanding against the licensee and that licence number 219884C is suspended.

A search of the MrH2O website shows that they are still referring to the licence number 219884C (which is suspended and in any event was the licence of Mr H2O Pty Ltd). An invoice I have shows the invoicing company as Mr H2O Operations Pty Ltd trading as Mr H2O Plumbing and Electrical and refers to that same licence number – yet that is the licence held by Mr H2O Pty Ltd and currently suspended – all this appears to be in breach of the Home Building Act. Also, an ASIC search shows that there is no business same Mr H2O Plumbing & Electrical and that the business name held by Mr H2O Operations Pty Ltd is A AAABOUT LOCAL PLUMBER.
